About us

Terlecki Ltd was established in 2017.

It was founded by Carl and Taryn Terlecki because of their love for design and build. They are both passionate about transforming homes and helping clients navigate the perilous journey of a construction project.

Both have extensive experience in working on a variety of properties from historic Dutch Barns to South African lodges and UK grade listed properties.

After a decade working together in the volunteer sector with leadership training and community initiatives they decided to start this new home renovation business with a focus on the customer journey and experience.​ Terlecki started from humble beginnings. Carl returning to the tools, being a carpenter and his love of working with timber. His goals going from making sure he could feed his young family to now leading a team of highly skilled professionals and artisans delivering quality home renovations across Kent. The business has had to navigate changes in the construction industry, a pandemic, a skills crisis, material supply and price fluctuations and the challenging preconceptions of clients with the industry.

They built the business around the belief that the project experience is as important as the end result and have built a strong reputation for their customer service.​ Their work has not gone unnoticed with Terlecki winning two national awards. Carl and Taryn have managed to build a quality team of craftsmen and specialists. Their experience in training and team building has meant that their projects are completed by a team of high performance individuals collaborating together with each person concentrating on their passion and skill.

They continue to support the industry’s skills shortage and are proud to have chaired the trailblazer core group to put through a new apprenticeship standard for Fitted Interiors.​

Since 2017 the team have completed over 300 projects growing from project values in the hundreds to now delivering major transformations in the hundreds of thousands. They continue to love revealing transformed spaces and homes to their much valued customers. Whether it is a small space that needs creative attention

to a full home transformation project the same care and attention continues to be given. Each home getting the Terlecki touch. ​

Terlecki Design Studio in West Malling Kent is their new business base. A design studio and showroom for customers to come be inspired and collaborate on their next home renovation project. They have restructured and streamlined their growing services with dedicated business units for large design and build projects, interior design and bespoke kitchens and fitted interiors.
